On the day of our inspection there were 15 people living at North Clifton Hall Nursing Home.

As part of the inspection we spoke with three people who used the service, we also spoke with four relatives of people who used the service who were visiting on the day of our inspection. We spoke with the provider, the acting manager and three staff. We looked at the care plans and care records for three people. We also observed how people were being supported.

During our visit we spoke with people who lived at the home, members of staff, a relative and a visiting Podiatrist. We also spoke with the owner and a consultant the home had employed to help raise standards. The registered manager had recently left and a member of staff who was a nurse was the acting manager and had been in this role for a few weeks.
