During a routine inspection

People we spoke with were happy with the care they received from the agency. People told us the carers arrived on time, were reliable and delivered appropriate care. One relative told us that the agency had responded very quickly when the care package needed to be increased and that " they were very happy, the staff are kind and caring" Another person told us they were satisfied with the service and had an information folder at home and staff were checked on regularly.

We found that people were involved in the decision about their care and were given adequate information about the service. The care was planned and delivered in a way that met people's needs. Risk assessments and care plans were individualised and reflected people's needs. The provider responded to any concerns raised promptly. Staff received the appropriate training and supervision and supported people in taking their medication and liaised with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

During a routine inspection

People we spoke with told us that they were delighted with the service. They said they had copies of their care plans and were involved in planning their care.

People told us that staff respected them and were polite and courteous at all times and referred to them by their name.

A relative told us that staff were very conscientious and the care was excellent 'staff go beyond expectations and not only provide care but support for the family as well'

We were told that people usually had the same carer.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us that they received an excellent service and that staff were 'excellent' and 'very polite.' People felt safe and had no concerns about using the service.

People were involved in the assessment of their needs and were kept informed of any changes to the service. Some people told us that they had experienced random spot checks and service reviews.

Staff said they felt well-supported by their employer.
