All inspections: Burrows Lea Residential Home

Within this follow up inspection we did not speak to people about their experiences living in the home. During our inspection in August 2011 people we spoke with said they were happy with the care they received and that they liked the home and were comfortable there.

People told us that they felt they received appropriate care and treatment in the home. We were told that although the food was good there did not seem to be any choice:

'the food is edible ' but not much choice'

'The food is fine.'

One lady told us she was happy with the care, staff were friendly and she 'had nothing to grumble about'

However we were also told that 'you don't see much of the staff'

A visitor told us that they were very happy with the care provided and that their relative had 'thrived since they came into the home'
