Date of Assessment: 23 October to 7 November 2025. Pure Care Agency is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of this inspection 2 people were receiving support with personal care. This was the first inspection of the service, and we looked at all quality statements.

 

There were enough staff to meet people’s needs and staff had been recruited to the service safely overall. Where there was an issue identified with the accuracy of references, the registered manager responded via lessons their learnt process and measures were put in place to make sure it did not happen again. Whilst no one had come to any harm this meant their full recruitment processes were not being followed.

 

People were supported by staff who kept them safe and knew them well. An assessment of needs was conducted to ensure the service could provide effective and safe care and care was regularly reviewed. Risk was assessed and monitored to reduce the risk of harm people may face while receiving care.

 

Relatives were kept informed and fully involved in all aspects of people’s care, this helped to ensure care met individual needs.

 

The staff team was stable which supported continuity of care for people using the service and staff enjoyed working at the service.

 

The service was inclusive and removed barriers in communication by having multilingual staff and providing communication support for people who were sight and hearing impaired.

Staff working at the service were kind and patient and told us they enjoyed working at the service.

 

Health and social professionals spoke highly of the service and the levels of professionalism and support they provided for people.

 

Quality monitoring at the service was in place to oversee people’s experience and the registered manager regularly monitored the service provision and put plans in place to improve.

People were kept safe in their homes and relatives told us they felt reassured by staff who came to support them.

 

People liked the staff and appreciated having regular staff provide them with care. People told us staff were warm and caring towards them and respected their privacy and dignity.

People told us they were encouraged to maintain their independence where they could, and they knew that staff were always there to provide support with the tasks they needed.

 

People and their relatives received regular contact from the registered manager which they valued as it was an opportunity to say if the care package was going well and if anything needed to improve.

 

People and their relatives had no complaints about the overall care and were pleased to be with the service.
