During a routine inspection
We found that people using the service were provided with appropriate care to meet their needs. Written consent to treatment was obtained and the risks of treatment were explained to people. Infection prevention and control measures were in place.
However, we found the clinic to be non-compliant in record keeping and in monitoring and assessing the quality of services. The standard of documentation did not accurately reflect the treatment and care that was provided. There were also concerns about how confidential information was managed and protected. There were systems in place for monitoring the quality and safety of services provided to people but, where concerns were identified, there was no evidence they were addressed.
