Updated 16 November 2025
Date of Assessment: 19 November 2025 to 21 November 2025. The service is a care home providing support to adults living with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder, mental health needs and physical disabilities. This assessment was carried out due to the age of the rating for the service.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted.
People received safe care that was based on their individual assessed needs and they and those important to them were involved with this process.
People were protected from potential abuse as procedures were in place and followed. Infection control was considered, and people were supported in a safe environment. Medicines were managed safely. The principles of the Mental Capacity Act were understood.
People were treated in a kind and caring way by staff they felt comfortable with. Staff had the skills and knowledge to support people and had been safely recruited.
There were systems in place to monitor quality of the service. There was a positive culture to the home which considered staff wellbeing. Staff felt listened to and involved with the service.
