During a routine inspection
We carried out an unannounced visit to Hawley House on 24 March 2025. This was in response to concerns we received that suggested people using the service may be at risk of harm. We then carried out a second unannounced visit on 23 June 2025. The visit on 23 June 2025 was to corroborate evidence submitted by the provider as part of their factual accuracy response to our draft report.
Although 3 young people were living at the service, we established a regulated activity was not being delivered. This meant we were unable to complete an assessment.
We have therefore made this location dormant on our register and will follow our dormancy monitoring procedures. Prior to and following our visit, we shared information about the service with partner agencies and they were made aware that we were unable to assess the safety and quality of care provided to the young people living at Hawley House.
