People's experience of the service

Updated 27 June 2025

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We did not receive any direct feedback.

We reviewed patient feedback gathered by the practice.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patients commented that the staff team were kind, friendly, professional and helpful. Patients said that they were made to feel at ease and that they were very happy with the treatments they received.

Patients commented that the dental team were gentle and kind when treating children and people with anxiety.

Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed.

Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.

Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.

Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.

There was a small number of less positive comments in relation to time taken to get through to the practice on the telephone. The practice was reviewing telephone access at the time of our inspection.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We saw that feedback was reviewed, discussed at practice meetings, and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
