All Inspections

During a routine inspection

We spoke with some of the parents of the children and young people who were using the service and they told us that their care workers treated them with respect and considered their need for privacy and dignity as much as possible.

One person commented, 'We always get the same staff who know us well'. Another person told us 'The staff have always treated us with respect'.

The people we spoke with confirmed that they had been informed of the choices of care that could be provided by the service. In addition, they had been involved in making decisions about the care they were provided with. One person commented, 'It was agreed at the beginning there wouldn't be any strangers, new staff always come and visit before they carry out any care'.

People told us they felt safe with their care workers and the care they were provided with. One parent commented about their care workers, 'I trust them on their own with my son' and another parent commented, 'I feel quite safe with them in my house and how they care for ', they care for him very well'.

All of the people we spoke with were happy with the service they received from the agency. They told us they knew how to make a complaint but they had not had any need to. One person commented 'I have never had to make a complaint' and another commented, 'I have not had cause to complain they are really good'.
