Our view of the service
Procare Team Ltd is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment, 15 people were receiving support with personal care.
Date of assessment: 12 June 2025 and 19 June 2025.This was the first assessment of this service since it registered on 30 January 2023.
Risks associated to a person’s health and wellbeing were identified and risk management plans were developed. Medicines were administered as prescribed and in a safe manner. The provider had a recruitment process which enabled them to assess new applicants’ suitability for the role. Care workers completed an induction, training and were supported through regular team meetings and supervision reviews. An assessment of a person’s care needs was carried out before the care package started. Care workers felt supported by the registered manager. The provider had a quality assurance process including audits to monitor the care provided and identify where improvements could be made.
People's experience of this service
People told us they felt safe when they received care at home. Care workers treated people with kindness and maintained their dignity and respect when they provided support. People and relatives felt able to raise any concerns or questions with the registered manager. People and relatives confirmed the registered manager regularly contacted them to get feedback on the quality of the care provided. The provider worked with healthcare professionals to ensure people’s health and care needs were met. People and relatives told us the service was well organised, and they had no concerns. Their comments included, “I am very happy with it, it does what I need”, and “I like this lot, I've no worries. It’s all good”, and “It’s all running very well. I have no issues at all.”
