All Inspections

During a routine inspection

The people that use this service did not use verbal forms of communication. It was therefore not possible for us to directly obtain their views of the service. However we spent time observing the support they received and their responses to this. Following our visit to Seaview we interviewed a number of family members over the telephone. Positive comments were made for each of the outcomes assessed. Family members told us they were kept well informed of the changes in their relative's condition. They told us that the care is 'Excellent' and 'If my relative is unwell they always call me'. Another reported that 'Staff were very good'. Another said they were 'Very helpful, they never had to make any complaints about staff at all'.

Family members told us that staff made then feel welcomed and involved, a number of examples for how this had been achieved were explained to us. Family members told us that if they had any concerns they would speak to the person in charge and they were confident appropriate action would be taken.
