During a routine inspection

We carried out this planned review to assess if people were receiving appropriate care and were kept safe. Although none of the people who we spoke with told us verbally what it was like living at the home we watched how the staff were supporting them with their care and support needs. We noted that the staff interacted with people who use the service in a supportive, caring and respectful way. The people we observed responded positively to the way that their care and support needs were being met. They demonstrated signs of well-being including smiling and becoming calmer following short episodes of being unhappy.
