We spoke to four people who used the service. They told us that the carers were helpful, dedicated and motivated to support and care for people living here. People said that sometimes they had to wait when they used the call system, although carers always checked to see that the call was not urgent and then explained that they would come as soon as they could. Generally, people told us that they saw the same carers and that this included longstanding agency carers. No one raised any concerns about the care they received but one person would like to be transferred from their wheelchair more often.

Everyone we spoke to told us that the meals were very good. They also told us that they enjoyed using the communal areas. Some people liked to join in the daily activities. One person told us, 'All staff are respectful to me. The food is fine and there is always a choice. Management listen and act quickly if I raise an issue. I can't think of anything that needs improving here.'
