During a routine inspection

We met with people who used this service and with some of their family members. Everyone we spoke with was very positive about the care and services provided at The Rookery. They said they would recommend the home to other people and told us how much they valued the service provided. People told us they had been supported to continue to assist with tasks which they carried out at home, such as helping with making meals and washing dishes, and to follow activities in the local community.

People told us,

'It really is a 'home from home',

'[My relative] loves coming here',

And said, 'All homes should be like this.'
