Our current view of the service

Good

Updated 7 May 2026

Dates of assessment were from 4 June to 17 June 2026. The service is a supported living service providing personal care for people living in their own apartments.

The service was being provided to 11 people at the time of the assessment.

We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities most people take for granted. We found people received care and support in accordance with this guidance.

This provider was able to demonstrate how they were meeting the underpinning principles of ‘Right support, right care, right culture’.

The assessment was carried out in line with CQC’s assessment priorities.

People had clearly established relationships in place with staff. They received exceptionally kind, compassionate and person-centred care from highly dedicated staff who knew them extremely well and consistently treated them with dignity, respect and empathy.

Systems and processes securely underpinned the running of the service and there was a safely recruited, established staff team to provide care and support.

Staff received training and supervision and they were passionate and dedicated to their roles. Care plans were in place and highly personalised to guide staff how to provide safe, person-centred care, and to help them understand people’s needs.

Policies and procedures were in place, known by staff and implemented in practice.

The service was led by the registered manager and supported by a management team, who had clear oversight of the quality of the care delivery. Staff were passionate about their support for people and felt highly motivated and supported to work closely with their colleagues and partners to meet each person’s needs.

People's experience of the service

Updated 7 May 2026

Without exception, people receiving care at the service were extremely happy with the way staff supported them. They felt they worked in strong partnership with the care team to have their needs met in line with their particular needs and wishes. One person told us, “I have no qualms with the staff, they totally respect my wishes and they are always approachable, even if I need support at 3am.” Another person said, “I am so happy with everything, it couldn’t be better for me. Staff know how important my relationships are and they respect my privacy. That is important for me.”

People and their families told us the care was delivered in person-centred ways, and staff knew each person’s needs very well. Everyone told us they felt safe and happy in the service. One relative said, “Without doubt, safety for [person] is a major thing and they do that well. I have such peace of mind knowing [person] is here.” Another relative said, “It’s brilliant, [person] is safe in their own place.”
