lunch' and 'I don't eat much'.
Three people told us they feel safe at the home.
Four people told us 'I like my room', 'I have all I need in my room', 'my family visit me in my room' and 'I don't need anything more'.
The people we observed and spoke to looked well. We noted that several people had greasy hair. The acting manager told us that the hairdresser was due to come in the next few days. All people we saw were appropriately dressed, given that the indoor temperature was high.
People we spoke to were not sure if they had a care plan or if they were asked about the care and support they needed. Three people told us 'staff help'. One person said 'staff sometimes take a while to come and help me, but they come'.
We saw some good interactions between staff and people who use the service with staff offering appropriate support and demonstrating good knowledge of people's needs.
We saw some occasions when staff provided support and did not explain to the person what they were doing.
People did not raise any concerns about the cleanliness of the home or their rooms.
