During a routine inspection

People using the services of Hall Lane Resource Centre told us that they were respected by staff and were being cared for and supported properly. Comments made included;

'The staff have all been lovely and treated me well.'

'I have always been spoken to politely and asked my opinion about how I have been looked after.'

'My care has been excellent.'

'I have received really good care and have really improved the short time I have been here.'

'I have no concerns about how they (staff) have cared for me, it has been a great help to me and my family.'

'There are lots of things to do during the day and I have really enjoyed it here.'

We found that people's care and welfare needs were being appropriately met and they were being cared for in a suitable environment by adequate numbers of appropriately trained staff. A suitable system to deal with complaints was being operated.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us that they were being cared for and supported well. They also said that staff spoke to them politely and respected their privacy and dignity. Comments made included;

'The staff are all so kind and helpful.'

'They (staff) look after me really well and speak to me properly.'

'Everybody is very nice, the staff help me do lots of things I cannot do for myself.'
