Our view of the service
Bennerley Fields Centre is a 40-bed residential care home with a focus upon rehabilitation for people who have been discharged from acute hospital admissions. People who come to stay at Bennerley Fields Centre typically have short admissions with intensive support from health and social care professionals such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams who are based onsite.
People with a diverse range of physical and mental health needs use the service.
Bennerley Fields can support up to 40 people. At the time of our assessment there were 22 people using the service.
People's experience of this service
We spoke to 8 people and 9 relatives. People and their relatives told us they were happy with the standard of care they received at Bennerley Fields Centre. People told us staff and leaders were caring and attentive, responding quickly to meet their needs. People were appreciative of the intensive support they received to recover from injuries or illnesses which had limited their mobility. People told us they enjoyed the spacious and comfortable environment, and enjoyed the food and the choices available.
