During an inspection looking at part of the service
We spoke with two people who use the service. They told us they enjoyed living in the home and that they felt that they got the care they need. They also said that staff come as quickly as they can when the call bell is rung. Both people we spoke with said the staff were very good. One person said "I don't think they could do more for me."
One person told us they were not aware they had a care plan but said staff "may have told me about it". People living in the home told us the felt safe.
We found that although staff had knowledge of the care and support people needed this was not reflected in the care plans. Care planning and assessment were limited and risks associated with people's individual care was not documented.
Staff told us they had received the training that they needed to carry out their role and that they had received supervision meetings with their manager.
We saw that there was evidence of assessing and monitoring the service by the manager and the provider.
