During a routine inspection

Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. A telephone evaluation process took place at the point of referral. During the initial visit the evaluation was completed and we saw that people had signed to confirm their agreement with the terms and conditions of service. We saw that detailed information about the service was provided to people at the point of enquiry.

Detailed and up to date information regarding care and support was in place. This included assessments and care plans, risk assessments and notes in relation to each contact.

Although the provider had made efforts to contact people who used the service, we were unable to speak to anyone during this inspection. We looked at completed feedback forms and comments that people had provided. Comments included, "Thank you so much for all that you did for me," and, "Great chat. It was helpful."

The service had suitable arrangements for ensuring that people who use the service were safeguarded and protected from abuse. The manager had received training on safeguarding children and adults.

There were arrangements for quality assurance. Feedback forms had been completed by people who use the service. Their comments indicated that they were fully satisfied with the quality of service provided.

Records held by the service were detailed and up to date. These were kept securely and easily accessed during our visit.
