During a routine inspection

On the day of our inspection we spoke with six people who use the service. They told us they were happy with the standard of the care and treatment they had received at the clinic. People also told us all the staff they had come into contact with at the clinic were sympathetic, kind and always professional. One person told us 'very impressed with the clinic. My experience has been really good so far. I would recommend them to anyone'. Another person said 'staff that work here are amazing. They always put you at your ease and make sure you know what to expect every step of the way'. We also looked at written feedback from people who had participated in the clinics most recent annual satisfaction survey, which showed us that people who had used the service were satisfied with the quality of the care and treatment they had received at the clinic. People had responded with thanks for the support and kindness of the staff.

We saw that people were given enough information about the service and were involved in making decisions about what care and treatment they would receive.

People were cared for in a safe environment and clinic had systems in place to ensure that people were protected from the risk of abuse and neglect.

We saw evidence that indicated the staff were suitably qualified and supported to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities and had effective systems to monitor the quality and safety of the care and treatment they provided.
