Our view of the service
Date of assessment 27 September 2025 to 30 October 2025.
This was the first inspection of Trusted Homecare (NW) Limited since registering with the Care Quality Commission on 15 August 2022. During this assessment we rated Trusted Homecare (NW) Limited overall good, with good in safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led.
Trusted Homecare (NW) Limited provides personal care to people in their own homes.
There were 2 people using the service when we carried out the assessment.
During the assessment we contacted 2 people or their relatives, and 2 care workers for their feedback about how people’s personal care needs were being met.
We looked at 31 quality statements and found that people received care, and support that was safe, and provided by professional, competent, and well-trained care workers. The provider recruited care workers appropriately, and people were enabled, and supported to take acceptable risks in a proactive, encouraging, manner that enhanced their quality of life. This also reduced their social isolation.
People received support from care workers who worked well as a team and provided joined up care. This included involving external healthcare professionals. The provider promoted a holistic approach to care, and this enhanced people’s independence, by giving them choices. This was regarding the service they received, and control over when they received it. The service recorded and respected people’s consent to care.
The provider monitored the support provided to encourage, and drive improved experiences, and outcomes for people. People, and their relatives told us the service was well managed, and the care workers treated people with kindness, compassion, and as individuals, making sure they received equitable service experiences. The service was well led, with good governance, and effective monitoring systems.
People's experience of this service
Relatives told us the management approach was positive, contactable, and responsive to any concerns or queries they may have and acted on them. They said that care workers were respectful, friendly, and provided good care, and support. They said care workers were skilled, well- trained, and provided a safe service, which enabled people to experience positive outcomes. The support provided, meant people were able to live safely, and protected from the risk of abuse and harm.
Relatives said that the registered manager responded to people’s changing needs, concerns, and provided them and their relatives with support to understand safeguarding. Relatives knew how to raise concerns with the registered manager if they felt unsafe. People received support that was responsive, prompt, and appropriate. People and their relatives were enabled to have choice and control over the way care workers provided care, support and when. Care workers encouraged and supported people to do as much as they could for themselves to maintain and improve their independence. Care workers supported people to maintain social, and family contacts, and ensure their personal care needs and cultural needs were met.
