During a routine inspection

We spoke with two patients who had an appointment for a scan at the North Manchester MRI Centre. Patients told us that staff treated them well and spoke to them in a respectful manner. Patients told us that the radiologist explained what the procedure involved and this helped them to understand and know what to expect. Patients said that staff at the centre were welcoming and that the waiting area was comfortable. We spoke with staff including two radiologists and found that staff were trained to undertake MRI scans. We found there were good procedures in place to seek feedback from patients about their experience of the centre and that patient's feedback was used to influence the way the service was delivered.
