The service met people’s needs, and that staff treated people equally and without discrimination.

Person-centred Care
The service made sure people were at the centre of their care and treatment choice. Our review of clinical records showed patients including those with protected characteristics were supported to manage their conditions. They were also involved in decisions about their care.
Care provision, Integration and continuity
Care was planned with people and information was shared with them to enable independence over care.
Providing Information
The service supplied appropriate, accurate and up-to-date information in formats that were tailored to individual needs.
The service had access to language interpretation services.
Listening to and involving people
The service made it easy for people to share feedback and ideas, or raise complaints about their care, treatment and support. Feedback and reviews were encouraged and any negative feedback or complaints were reviewed thoroughly.
Equity in access
The service made sure that people could access the care, support and treatment they needed when they needed it.
The service enabled patients to submit routine and urgent appointment requests via phone, online and in person.
Patients who provided feedback were positive about access to services.
Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders had extensive expertise in the areas of care they delivered. In addition, the lead GP proactively shared advice and gave presentations to community groups and organisations on issues related to menopause.
Feedback provided by people using the service, both to the provider as well as to CQC, was positive. Staff treated people equally and without discrimination. Leaders proactively sought ways to address any barriers to improving people’s experience and worked with local organisations.
Planning for the future
Our review of clinical records showed people were supported to consider their wishes for their future care, including changes in their heath.
