Following our last inspection in June 2025, Spectrum introduced an enhanced support plan to monitor and oversee the necessary changes required to improve the service.
During this inspection we found that managers and staff had made the necessary changes to improve the service in relation to the management of the emergency and critical medicines cupboard. Templates for recording stock checks were more detailed, and the required weekly checks were completed. Compliance was monitored through the local medicines management meeting and discussions were evident in staff team meeting minutes. Oversight by the provider was maintained through the enhanced support plan and the Quality Assurance and Patient Safety (QAPS) Committee.
