During an assessment under our new approach

Holbeach Meadows Care Home is a care home that supports adults of all ages, including those with dementia, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, or mental health conditions. The service is registered to accommodate up to 66 people. At the time of our assessment there were 53 people living at the service. This was the first planned assessment of this newly registered service. The assessment took place between 2 July and 8 July 2025. We visited Holbeach Meadows Care Home on 2 July and 8 July 2025. This was a comprehensive inspection, we looked at all five key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. Holbeach Meadows Care Home was rated Outstanding overall. The service demonstrated exceptional leadership, a strong learning culture, and consistently delivered person-centred care that promoted dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing. People’s experience of the service was overwhelmingly positive. They felt safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. Staff were described as kind, compassionate, and responsive, and care was delivered in a way that upheld privacy and promoted autonomy. Relationships with families were actively supported, and people were empowered to maintain routines and make choices about their daily lives. The service demonstrated a strong commitment to equity in experience and outcomes. Staff adapted care to meet individual needs and used feedback to improve practice. No concerns were identified regarding human rights breaches or inequalities. Governance systems were robust and well-structured, with clear accountability and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Staff were well-trained, supported, and empowered to deliver high-quality care. The environment was safe, well-maintained, and designed to promote comfort and independence. The service’s commitment to kindness, dignity, and personalised care was evident throughout, and people’s experience reflected a truly outstanding standard of care.
