During an inspection in response to concerns
A needs assessment is carried out to ensure staff know how to care for people appropriately.
One person told us, 'The carers we have are very nice and they do respect my privacy.'
Staff have access to clear up to date care plans as a guidance on how to best support people.
One person said, 'The care staff do what I want them to do and more.'
Another person told us, 'They care for my relative well, I have no complaints.' 'My relative is contented with the care provided and the staff have a lot of patience.'
People who use the service told us that staff arrive on time and stay their allocated time.
People cannot be confident that all staff will be aware of the importance of sharing information of abuse with relevant agencies so they are not placed at further risk of harm.
The agency's staff recruitment procedure ensures that staff are suitable to work with vulnerable people.
People who use the service said staff are always smartly dressed, polite and were satisfied with the care given.
One person said, 'We need two carers to support us and the agency always provides us with two care staff.'
One person told us, 'The manager always rings once a week to see if we are happy with the service.' They said, 'We are over the moon with the service provided and its nice having the same staff.'
Another person said, 'I've never really had to complain about anything.'
