During a routine inspection

There were two staff providing care to two people. For purposes of this report we will refer to the staff as the providers as they own the business. We gave two days notice of our inspection to ensure one of the providers was available to meet with us. It was not possible to speak with either of the two people who received a service. Therefore, we spoke with three relatives to get feedback about the service their family members receive. We also spoke with one of the two providers, who provided the care service.

Relatives told us the 'care was really good'. They said their relatives felt safe and the support they received 'ensured they were able to stay at home' which was 'their wish'. We were told that people were 'in control' of their care and were 'encouraged to be as independent as possible.'

The providers were described as 'wonderful.' One relative said their family member 'loved them to bits.'

The provider we spoke with was aware of abuse and knew how to report any concerns to the local safeguarding teams. Records were accurate, well organised and kept securely and safely.
