During a routine inspection

The residents we spoke during our visit to were generally happy about living at the home using words such 'very nice', 'they look after us' and 'the carers are kind' to describe the staff who look after them. The three relatives we spoke to were also all very positive about the care their relative receives. They said that all care and welfare needs are met and that staff are responsive to meeting needs and knowledgeable about their relatives and what has been happening to them between visits. They are happy to approach staff about any concerns they have and these are addressed

Both residents and relatives were happy about the quality of food at the home saying there are choices available and if they do not like the choices then alternatives will be provided. All the relatives also commented positively about the cleanliness of the home and said that that it is a pleasant environment to live in.
