People that we spoke with said their needs were being met. They said that staff were very helpful and felt they were treated with kindness. One person said the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them. Another told us 'you can't fault the staff'. Visitors that we spoke with commented positively about staff and said their relatives were looked after well by a consistent group of staff.

People told us that their relatives were well looked after. We were told that they felt their relative was safe; however some people using the service did wander and walk into other people's bedrooms.

People were positive about the staff. We were told that staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. They told us that there appeared to be enough staff and they could find someone if they needed assistance.

Staff told us that they thought there was enough staff on duty to meet people's needs, although there had been a time when it had been difficult due to the behaviour of one person using the service. We were told that this improved when additional staff were provided. We were told that training was available.

Staff said that they would report any safe guarding concerns to the manager; however staff were not clear about local safeguarding procedures.
