We examined five outcomes and found the service to be compliant in all.
We also followed up on some information of concern we had received but we could not substantiate this.
Staff spoken with told us they enjoyed working at the service.
People said they were involved in the running of the service and if they had any concerns or complaints they speak to the staff.
All people spoken with praised the staff for their hard work and dedication, one person said the staff were "angels without wings". Another person said they had stayed at two other places and this was "the best by far".
One visitor told us that they had chosen this home for their relative as it was the best one they had seen and they felt their needs would be met here. They said their relative was very happy here.
The majority of people said the food was very good and they have lots of choices. Some people said the food was ok and one person said they didn't enjoy the food but they had spoken with the chef and registered manager about this.
People had access to a varied activities programme that covered every day of the week. One person told us they were looking forward to a watching a film.
