People told us they were cared for very well. They said, 'I do talk to the staff about the help I need. They are very good'. 'I talked about the help I needed with the manager before I came to stay. I wouldn't like to move, everyone is so kind here'. 'I'm quite happy with how I am treated'.

People told us the food was very good. They commented, 'I don't always know what we are having, but it's always very nice'. And, 'We have a choice at tea time. I'm not fussy and I enjoy what I get". We found there were good supplies of fresh, frozen and other provisions. Meals were balanced and nutritious and offered choice. Portions served were generous.

People told us they felt safe in the home. Staff were very good and took intoaccount their needs. They said staff spoke to them respectfully. There were no rigid rules or routines they had to follow.

People told us they usually had their medication when they needed it. We found some concerns about how medication was managed.

We were told there was always enough staff about to help where needed. Staff came when required and always had time to talk people. Rooms were kept clean.
