Archived: Downside

Both of the relatives we spoke to spoke highly of the registered manager and staff. They told us that Downside was a family run home and that their relatives were treated as one of the family. They were very happy with the care their relatives received and that they are kept informed of any changes to their condition. People were clearly supported to live the lifestyle of their choice and to be as independent as possible.

A comment in Downside's visitor's comments book stated 'My relative's quality of life has improved so much compared with when they lived on their own. The registered manager and her team have created a lovely warm homely feeling for all their residents. Long may it continue!'
