During a routine inspection
People were involved in the care that they received. One person said '(care workers) ... are very helpful and keep me independent'. People were treated 'very respectfully' and 'with dignity'.
People were generally pleased with the care they received from the individual care workers. People we spoke with said care worker were 'very caring' and 'know what they are doing'. One family member said that the care worker her mother saw 'care very deeply for her and give excellent care'. However she said that it had taken a long time to establish a regular team of care workers and 'even now ... still get carers we don't know ... (there was) poor reporting of lateness ... or of change of carers'.
People said that they felt safe with the service and would be able to talk to someone at the office if they had problems.
