During a routine inspection

People using the service were actively involved in making decisions about the way their care was provided. They received properly planned, individualised support from sufficient skilled staff to meet their needs.

We found that risks to personal safety were well managed. This included safe arrangements for giving people their medication.

People told us they were happy with their support and how they were treated. They said, 'I keep as much independence as possible', and, 'I do more things for myself now the staff are helping me'. They also had a good understanding of how to make a complaint about their service.

During a routine inspection

People using the service and their relatives gave positive comments about staff and the support they received from the project. They told us they were involved in how support was planned and were satisfied their needs were met. They described staff as 'excellent', 'good', and 'nice', and one person said, 'The staff are alright here, they treat me well'. One relative said their family member was 'treated as an individual with rights', and another said their relative was 'very happy'.
