During a routine inspection

At the time of this inspection most of the people who use this service were unable to talk with us over the telephone and did not have a lot of involvement with members of their families. We visited the offices from where the care and support was organised. We held a telephone interview with one person who uses the service and we spoke with three of their support workers and a health care professional.

We found that creative support involved people in how their care was provided and that people who use the service were treated with dignity and respect.

We found that people's care was assessed and planned, so as to meet their needs and protect their rights. One person told us: 'I help with the shopping, cooking and cleaning. They have meetings and talk about the care.'

We found that the provider was taking reasonable steps to ensure that people were protected from abuse and harm.

We found that people received care and support from staff that were trained supervised and supported to do their job well.

We found that the provider had systems in place to monitor the service to ensure that it was of good quality.
