During a routine inspection

The two people we spoke with only had very positive thing to say about ANNU cosmetic clinic. It was confirmed that people had been given time to explain their needs and requirements in a relaxed way. Treatment options had been carefully explained along with the risks and benefits of each treatment. One person said, 'I am very, very happy with the treatment. The possible side effects were explained, care was taken to see how my skin reacted to the treatment. I never felt any pressure to do anything that I did not want to do. The treatment was tailored to me'.

Another person said, 'You are always made to feel comfortable, they are always good with any questions I have and answer them very thoroughly. They are also very clear about what might happen. At the end of each treatment I have always had cooling gel applied. That helped a lot'.

We asked people specifically about complaints. Both people stated that they had no complaints whatsoever about the service. We were told that if there was concern they would immediately contact the cosmetic clinic and make their views known. Both people expressed confidence that action would be taken to address any concerns.

During a routine inspection

People who use the service said that they are were given information that enabled them to understand the care and treatment choices available to them. People said they were satisfied with the way their needs were assessed and in the way care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. People who use the service explained that they are asked for their views about their care and treatment and that if any issues are raised they are always acted upon.
