Overall people told us they liked living in the home. They said they got on with staff and felt that staff understood them and were friendly and helpful. They told us that staff mostly respected their wishes in terms of daily routines and personal preferences. They told us they did not access the community as much as they would like.

Staff told us that they liked their job, one said 'I love working here'. They said they felt that processes were in place to ensure that people were involved in decision making and were listened to. They said they felt people's care needs were met but social and educational opportunities could be improved if there were more staff to support people with this.

People told us they were now getting out of the home and accessing the local community on a regular basis.

Overall people told us they liked living at the home. They got on well with staff. Staff understood their wishes and did all they could to support them. They told that staff help with their daily routines and personal care needs, but staff were not always able to support them to access the community as much as they wished to.
