During an assessment under our new approach
Date of Assessment; 6 July to 23 July 2026. We gathered information from visiting the office; visiting and speaking with people who used the service; speaking to staff and reviewing information off site. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing care and support services for people living in their own home. At the time of this assessment 14 people were receiving a regulated service.
Systems were in place to protect people and staff from harm. Staff visits to people were well planned and monitored to ensure that sufficient time was available during the visit. Staff received training and support to enable them to deliver safe, effective care and support the well-being of people and their families. Prior to beginning the service people’s needs were discussed and assessed, enabling a detailed care plan to be created and identified risks, where possible, were mitigated.
Staff understood the needs of people and what was important to them. People were treated with kindness and compassion.
People were involved in decisions about their care and systems were in place to ensure any changes needed or requested were carried out quickly.
The provider was visible, knowledgeable and supportive. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities and were proud of the service they delivered. The provider promoted a culture of continuous development and improvement of the service, which included involvement in community initiatives.
