During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who used the service and the relative of another person using the service. They told us they were regularly kept involved in the review of their care plans and received routine telephone calls from the provider to keep them updated.

The people we spoke with told us they were happy with the care being provided. They told us the staff were friendly and competent. The relative of one person using the service told us the more experienced staff were much more helpful but they were happy with the overall care they received.

The people we spoke with told us that they had no concerns about the care they received. They told us they had been given contact details for the provider and the local authority for any concerns they may have.

The people we spoke with told us that the care staff rarely arrived late or missed their visits. They also told us they were always contacted by the office to inform them if staff would be late.

During a routine inspection

During the visit, we spoke with one person who uses the service and the relative of another person who uses the service. They told us they were asked for written consent for care and treatment when they first started using the service.

The people we spoke with told us they were very happy with the care being provided. They also told us the staff were very friendly and easy to get along with.

One person told us they had not had any instances where medication was not given on time by staff. The people we spoke with told us that they had no concerns about the care they received and had been given information on who to contact if they had any concerns or complaints.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with one person who used the service and two relatives who were representatives of people receiving a service. All told us that they were satisfied with the services they received from the agency.

One person who used the service said the agency was good, staff were reliable and they could contact the office easily. We were told staff listened to personal preferences and were respectful.

The relatives we spoke with were also positive about the quality of service their relatives received from the agency. We were told, 'The girls from Advantage are absolutely faultless. They treat us like part of their family'. Another representative told us they got the same team of agency care workers, that the agency had never let them down and the care staff team arrived on time. They told us that newer members of the care support staff were supported by an experienced member of the team. They said they thought the agency provided an excellent service. One person told us that they had used other agencies before but they could not compare to the agency care staff from Advantage Healthcare Rochdale.
