Workforce wellbeing and enablement
The provider did not always care about and promote the wellbeing of their staff. They did not always support or enable staff to deliver person-centred care.
The provider sponsored the majority of its homecare staff to work in the UK from overseas. Staff were experiencing some uncertainty at the time of inspection, and this had affected the wellbeing of a number of staff we spoke with.
Staff received supervisions from the registered manager with the opportunity to raise concerns. However, there was no evidence concerns had been considered or actioned. The registered manager held team meetings online, but we were unable to check the content and if staff had the opportunity to speak up as these were not provided.
We also requested staff rotas to ensure staff had enough breaks and days off, but the provider was unable to provide these.
