During an inspection in response to concerns

People we spoke with told us that their medicines usually came at about the same times every day. One person who had painkillers confirmed they were 'not in pain' and that they were 'well looked after'. People who chose to self-administer some of their medication told us they got the right amount of support.

During an inspection in response to concerns

One person told us that the staff were 'very kind and they can't be faulted'.

One lady said she 'really enjoyed having her hair done in the home's salon'.

Some visitors told us 'the staff are marvellous, we can't speak highly enough of the staff and the staff are great'.

Other visitors told us that 'the atmosphere in the home is calming and relaxing'

One member of staff told us that 'people's needs are met and there is a good level of care'. She also told us that she thought 'things were improving in the home'.

A visitor told us that there 'were too many agency staff used in the home'. She also said that on occasions her mother had not been given the correct amount of tablets and insulin had been given without the blood glucose levels being taken.
