During an inspection looking at part of the service

People spoken to during the visit said the staff were all respectful and friendly. One person said "the girls always pop in to my room to make sure I am alright". Another person thought that since the new manager had been at the home everything felt more settled.

15 February 2011

During a routine inspection

People that we spoke to during our visit, told us "I have lived here for 5 years and am happy with the care and staff. One person 'I have everything I need here but sometimes I would like more to do'. Another person said 'I haven't been here very long but it seems fine. The manager spends time chatting, which is nice' When asked if they felt safe living at Tollesby Hall Nursing Home people said "Yes, I feel safe" and "I like it here".

People showed us their rooms and said "it is nice and clean".

They said they felt involved in decisions about their daily lives, however there was a lack of activities.
