Our view of the service
Date of inspection: 05 to 12 August 2026.
The service is a residential home providing accommodation with nursing and personal care for older people and people living with dementia. The service can support 27 people. There were 26 people living in the service at the time the inspection commenced.
The last comprehensive inspection of the service was May to June 2026, where it was rated as Good. However, we found the service was in breach of 1 legal regulation relating to the need for consent.
We asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at that inspection.
This inspection was a focused inspection to check if improvements had been made relating to the identified breach of regulation.
We found that the service had made significant improvements and that consent had been lawfully obtained in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
The service was no longer in breach of legal regulation relating to need for consent.
We found that staff continued to be caring and supported people in a kind and considerate manner. Staff received appropriate training for their roles and worked well with healthcare professionals.
Systems were in place to monitor the running of the service.
