During an inspection looking at part of the service

People living in the home told us:

"I have lived here for years, It's a good place and the foods good",

"I don't get a cup of tea in bed",

"they do look after you here" ,

"it's very good here, they look after you. A lot of it is what you make of it yourself",

"Most of the staff here are really nice",

"I go down to the shops when I want; they insist that I use my walking stick",

"Staff here are really nice girls, they try hard and work hard. It's not really my home but

it's comfortable",

"I have seen the file that staff keep about me",

"I never know what's for breakfast" and "I can't see the point in reporting anything I am unhappy about it makes no difference, nothing gets done".

During an inspection in response to concerns

We didn't speak to any of the residents during our visit.

No service users were self medicating and everyone was busy having lunch when we visited.

We observed that people received their medicines at the right time and in a safe way.
