Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

Within 28 days of this condition taking effect, the registered provider must undertake oversight and governance processes, which include monthly audits in relation to (but not limited to) the following:
a) Environmental risk assessment and risk management plans to ensure service users and staff are consistently protected from identified risks;
b) Monitoring of accidents and incidents to ensure they are reviewed, thoroughly investigated and prompt action taken to keep service users safe and effective accident management;
c) Medicines administration and management to ensure service users are consistently protected from the risks associated with medicines;
d) Service user risk assessment and risk management plans to ensure staff have clear up to date guidance to mitigate risks associated with service user health and wellbeing;
e) Compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 to ensure decisions made in service users’ best interests are done so in line with legislation;
f) Any other areas the Registered Provider determines is needed.

Within 28 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must submit a report detailing what action has been taken to comply with the above condition. On the first Monday of every month thereafter, the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a report outlining the outcomes of their monthly audits. This report must summarise audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, who is responsible for these and timescales for completion.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Grove Court.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 10 service users at Grove Court.
