During an inspection looking at part of the service

We received mixed views regarding this service. Many people were happy with the care and support they received. These people said staff arrived for care appointments on time, carried out their duties professionally and to a good standard. However a minority raised significant concerns regarding their care. These people said staff sometimes did not arrive or were late for their duties, tasks were not completed, and complaints were not resolved to ensure sustained improvement in the care delivered.

During an inspection looking at part of the service

Most people have said staff provide them with appropriate care. However we have received a significant number of concerns regarding staff time keeping and some staff practices which are not deemed as meeting professional standards. This inspection was completed on 10 October 2011

During a routine inspection

People said to us that staff are caring and supportive. Some concerns were expressed by some people using the service do not always arrive for care appointments on time, and this can be a problem for individual users of the service. However, when they do arrive people working for the service deliver care in an unrushed manner and stay for the right amount of time.
