During a routine inspection
Care was assessed and delivered in a way to meet the needs of people who used the service. The processes and documentation used in the clinic enabled people to make informed choices about their care and be fully aware of the expected results of surgery and the risks involved.
The provider had quality assurance processes in place to ensure that equipment was maintained.
There was no systematic approach to induction, training and appraisal in the clinic although there were company policy and procedures to support these activities. This meant that people cannot be assured that they received care, treatment and support from appropriately trained and competent staff.
There were corporate quality assurance systems in place. All monitoring was controlled and managed by head office.
