During a routine inspection

During our inspection we spoke with the registered manager, the clinical nurse lead and patients.

Patients stated that “It has been quick and I have been given plenty of information”; “treated like a princess” “Really nice food”; “Very clean” and “I can’t think of anything negative to say”.

They said that they were fully involved in the decisions that were made and they were provided with enough information to actively participate in the decision making process.

We viewed the hospital and found it to be clean and well- appointed offering patients a good standard of accommodation during their stay.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with one person who was about to be discharged following their operation. We also attempted to speak to a person who was receiving follow-up care from the hospital but our attempts were unsuccessful.

The person we spoke with who had used the service told us that they were happy with the care they had received and that they had been treated with respect and dignity.

They said that they were fully involved in the decisions that were made and they were provided with enough information to actively participate in the decision making process.

We were told that staff were friendly, supportive, and informative.

Their comments included;

'Here, at the hospital, it's been absolutely phenomenal.'
