During a routine inspection

We spoke with one carer who told us they felt very supported by the shared lives officers. They told us they had regular contact with them both face to face and via the telephone.

The shared lives officers explained the recruitment process for carers and we also looked at the recruitment documentation. There were processes and procedures in place to ensure carers were of good character and had the relevant skills for their role.
